My Winter Skin Care Routine

Home / Skin Care / My Winter Skin Care Routine

Let me preface by giving you my skin stats-

Susceptible to the occasional hormonal breakout

Sensitive to sun exposure

I tend to switch up my skin care for the seasons and it being winter I am focused on undoing the damage done during the summer as well as hydration hydration hydration! Although Southern CA does tend to have a fairly mild climate year-round I have been doing a lot of traveling to places that do not. The drastic changes in temperatures from inside to outside along with the general dryness that winter causes my skin, means that I need to step up my moisturizer game!

As mentioned I also am using some intense exfoliation products that are fighting to undo the sun damage my skin sustained during the summer. Now hydration and exfoliation don’t usually go hand in hand, it takes a tricky balance but what can I say? I want it all and I want it right now!

Morning Routine-

Focusing on sun protection and not stripping my skin of it’s natural oils. I even surprise myself every morning at the simplicity of my AM routine.
