How To Make Your Makeup Last Longer
If you’re not already taking the time to Prime + Set your mind is about to be blown. Using the ‘foundation sandwich’ technique (that’s a real thing) will make your makeup last longer and stay looking fresh all day!
After applying your daily moisturizer and waiting 10-15 mins (depending on how fast your lotion takes to sink in) you move onto primer. Along with increasing the wear-time of your foundation you primers can also help with certain skin concerns leaving you with a perfect canvas for foundation. As most of us have experienced, our skin can sometimes seem to ‘eat’ our makeup throughout the day. And that’s because it kind of does! It also wipes off onto other materials or your hands much easier when applied straight to the skin. The primer asks as a barrier and a tacky surface for foundation to stick to.

Once your foundation is ‘sandwiched’ between your primer and setting powder it is not going to budge! As with everything skin care and makeup related, to get the best results have have to find your perfect combination of products.
Here are a few powders that I recommend:

To avoid the powdery/cakey look AND to make your makeup last even longer consider a setting spray. This is also perfect for those of us who love a dewy, glowy look.
