Beauty Trend: What is Multi Masking?!

Your skin doesn’t behave the same in every area of your face, so why mask like it does?

So, what is multi masking?

You have an oily T-zone, you’re dry on the sides of your nose, you have aging concerns around your eyes and a few blemishes. Hypothetically of course, I know you all actually have perfect skin 😉

So instead of applying one face mask for one of your skin concerns, you apply 4… or 2 or 5 whatever your skin needs!

For shine or excessive oil:

multi-masking- oil reducing mask

For redness, irritation or texture:

*Tip- store this mask in the fridge for an extra cooling sensation!

For dry and dehydrated skin:

Mario Badescu Super Collagen Mask– $18

For firming and lifting:

*Tip- this is a peel-off mask, make sure not to overlap other masks on the edges of this one when multi-masking!

GLAMGLOW Gravitymud Firming Treatment Mask– $42

For acne and blackheads:

*Tip- comes in powder form will last you forever. Mix small amount with Apple Cider Vinegar for max results. Apply directly to acne blemishes to encourage them to come up to the surface and dry out quickly.

multi-masking-clarifying mask

Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Deep Pore Cleansing– $10

Of course all of these masks are great on their own too! Using more than one at once is just way more effective and  a huge time-saver (so you don’t have to mask every night of the week) Try out multi-masking on your next pamper night and let me know how it goes!

(Don’t forget the bath, candles, wine and Netflix either)

    Hi Monet,

I just commented on another one of your posts; but I enjoyed reading it so much, I decided to check out this one on “what is multi masking?”.

I never heard of this concept; but it makes a lot of sense. Our skin is not the same all over. I noticed that the last product; you said to use some apple cider vinegar with it. I use ACV for a lot of things and drink 2 to 3 glasses daily. I think that the clay mask would be one I would consider purchasing; but maybe I need something more moisturizing around my eyes.

Thank you for an informative post.

YES ACV is so good for us and have a million different uses! It’s used a lot in DIY skin care as well. I bet your body is loving that you take it daily!

If you wanted to step it up you could grab some collagen eye masks on Amazon while you’re getting the clay mask. It could be your perfect combo!
